Effectus organized successfully the forum “EU Tourism: Resilience in the Era of the Climate Crisis” in Rhodes
Effectus co-organized the “EU Tourism: Resilience in the Era of the Climate Crisis” Forum with Hotrec and the South Aegean Region, which was held on 8th and 9th of April on the island of Rhodes.
Ten leading EU level tourism sector associations met in the majestic Palace of the Grand Master and signed the Rhodes Joint Declaration, committing themselves in expediting the sector’s green transition and calling on EU institutions and member states to adopt relevant policies and ensure the necessary financing tools to support this transition, to the benefit of EU economy and citizens.
Prime minister of Greece Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis honored the Forum with his presence, accompanied by Minister of Tourism Ms. Olga Kalogianni, deputy Minister of Environment Ms. Alexandra Sdoukou, and Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy Mr. Ioannis Pappas.
