Effectus Delivers High-Level Public Affairs Event for SEPAN

Effectus partnered with the Hellenic Association of Recycling & Waste-to-Energy Industries (SEPAN) for the organization of its 2026 Annual General Assembly.

The event provided a platform for discussion on the role of the circular economy in strengthening Greece’s competitiveness and advancing sustainable growth. Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis delivered the keynote address, highlighting progress in waste management and recycling, and emphasizing the importance of accelerating investments, infrastructure development and innovation to support the country’s circular transition.

The discussion focused on key policy priorities, including strengthening recycling systems, advancing waste management infrastructure, enhancing the effectiveness of public administration and promoting waste-to-energy as part of an integrated circular economy framework.
